BREAST FEEDING NEWBORNS
WHILE THE PROCEDURE IS BEING DONE.
| A very recent study shows that breast feeding newborns while
the needle stick procedure is being done is slightly more effective then sugar
water. If your baby is blessed enough to have a lactating mommy, it is worth
trying if other methods are not available. Sixteen out of fortyfour babies
studied did not even show indication that the procedure was occurring.
Great news for the sixteen out of forty four. |
