A watch that delivers insulin into the body by iontophoresis is being worked on. It will deliver insulin by a small electric current, the same way Lidocaine and Epinephrine are delivered by Numby Stuff. The watch will also measure blood sugar levels the way the currently available watch does. The watch can also be connected to a computer using Timex data link software, so that insulin schedules and blood sugar levels can be kept track of easily. The watch will hold a day's supply of insulin. On the back of the watch, two electrodes will monitor blood glucose levels and also deliver insulin.
